More than anything we think it is important that there is complete transparency in how we charge for our services and what the client pays for.
Initially we will need to visit your property or chosen space where we will take photos and measurements and start to develop some ideas based on your requirements and budget.
Following our survey we will produce a fairly detailed proposal with budget estimations of the work required which we will send to you for your consideration.
This initial consultation is free of charge.
If you are happy with our proposals the next stage is for us to send you a short agreement to be signed which will include a fixed fee for our work. This is usually between 10%-15% of the estimated total cost of the overall project, depending on your requirements of us. This fee will usually cover the design including preparation of any drawings or specifications, sourcing of suppliers and contractors. We will obtain estimates from contractors and negotiate the best prices for you the client. We will organise and oversee the works on site with regular site visits as required. We will report to you regularly with photos as the work progresses.
It is important to know we do not receive any commissions from the contractors or suppliers we use. We set out to achieve the best possible service and prices for our clients. If we can negotiate reductions these are passed on to the client. Please note, not all interior designers work this way.
One of the benefits of operating this way is that the client can often recoup much, if not all of our fee in the discounts and trade prices negotiated.
